Multi-Cargo Handling
PTOL continues to strengthen Terminal “A” as a multipurpose gateway serving key markets across the Eastern and Southern regions of Nigeria, supported by established relationships with customers, logistics operators and other stakeholders.
OUR CAPABILITIES
What we handle
General Cargo
PTOL handles a wide range of general cargo, supported by experienced personnel and appropriate cargo-handling equipment. Operations are carried out with emphasis on safe loading, discharge, handling and storage.
Dry Bulk Cargo
PTOL provides handling services for dry bulk commodities including products such as wheat, gypsum, coal, malt, cement and other bulk commodities handled through the terminal.
Breakbulk Cargo
PTOL handles a variety of non-containerised and oversized cargo, including machinery, steel products, vehicles, pipes and other industrial cargo. Our operational teams coordinate the safe loading, discharge and movement of these cargoes within the terminal.
Liquid Bulk Cargo
PTOL provides handling and discharge services for liquid bulk cargo, including bitumen and other liquid commodities handled through the terminal, using appropriate operational procedures and facilities.
Oil & Gas and Project Cargo
PTOL provides handling services for project and oil-and-gas-related cargo, including pipes, machinery, heavy equipment and other specialised cargo. Our multipurpose terminal capability enables us to support the movement of project cargo for industrial and energy-sector customers.
Containerised Reefer Cargo
PTOL provides handling and monitoring services for refrigerated containers carrying temperature-sensitive cargo such as seafood, fish, fruits, vegetables, meat, plants and pharmaceutical products. Our reefer services are supported by appropriate monitoring and operational procedures to help maintain cargo integrity throughout its stay at the terminal.
